I am based in New York City, and I love teaching all types of music, from voice and piano lessons to songwriting and music theory. About Me Hi, I’m James — a multi-instrumentalist and experienced music educator with over 7 years of teaching experience. I specialize in guitar, bass, piano, drums, music production, and songwriting. From 2018–2022, I taught music in schools and privately, working with students of all ages and skill levels, both in-person and online. My teaching style is student-centered and practical: I tailor lessons to each student’s goals, whether that’s playing their first song, improving technique, writing original music, or diving into recording and production.
