I just finished work on the Epix TV show "Godfather of Harlem" opposite Academy Award winning actor Forrest Whitaker.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
You must really connect with the teacher. Acting is a very vulnerable experience and you must feel safe enough with your teacher that you are willing to try and fail and be able to laugh and learn from these attempts and failures.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What's required from the student to really learn how to develop as an actor.
