About
Hello and thank you for your interest in taking lessons with me. I've been a professional musician for over 25 years, a career that has included touring the United States and internationally, studio recordings, and teaching.
I enjoy playing drums, making music, and meeting new people with an interest in drums and drumming.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Finding out why they chose the drums, their goals, and teaching them at a relaxed pace they are comfortable with, and making sure they are having fun.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was taught by my father, who was a professional drummer, and by my uncle who created a monthly issued world wide distributied drum publication. I've taught privately and at a NJ music retailer/ music instructional facility.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching privately from people seeing me perform at local shows and wanting to learn how to play.
What types of students have you worked with?
Begginer, intermediate, and semi pro.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure to have fun playing or learning to play. Don't be intimidated by learning something new. No matter what profession someone is in, they had to start from the beginning and work their way up.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Why they chose the drums and what are their musical goals.
