I love the game, all aspects, which is why I have spent almost my entire life training/competing and teaching the game of tennis. I have been ranked up to #1 in NJ as a junior and played for Muhlenberg college #1 singles and doubles. I have taught for Nick Bolleterri as well as Nike camp and have owned my own tennis management company for many years now as well as being a licensed Wilson dealer! What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will take a student from any level. Teaching propper stroke production, body mechanics and pro tour style footwork, to help a player learn to use and maximize the enitre body in their tennis game as well as propper mental game strategy court possitioning etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
USPTR Certified, Former #1 Collegiate player Muhlenberg College, 20 plus year teaching experience, under Bolletierri Academies, Nike Tennis camps, currently manage 5 pro's Wilson Advisory Staff member racquet dealer and tech.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Usually starting at $75 per hour, indoors at Minerals Resort $80 per hour member/$90 per hour guests. Discounts available based on package pricing etc.
How did you get started teaching?
I've been teaching since in high school began teaching younger players private lessons and starting coaching in tennis Summer camps since 1996 or so... Since after College in 2003 began teaching full time as Head pro at Minerals Resort/Crystal Springs Resort, Now Teaching and managing as tennis director, and owner of my own tennis company Brad Scheller Tennis.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have had countless players achieve high school #1,2,3 singles possitions and at least 10 plus players gone on to start on Collegiate tennis teams. Currently have 3-4 players who should be poised to go on to excellent College Careers!
