About this pro

Hi, my name is Ken and I am a United States Professional Tennis Association certified tennis coach. I coach for Ymca and two local schools and have been giving private lessons in northern New Jersey area for the last eleven years. I have helped many students got into Ivy League Colleges, including Harvard,---, and Yale. My coaching is based on the principles I learned from my own private coaches. I took lessons from many famous coaches, including coach Scott McGrath who was ranked number one junior tennis player in the United States in the 90's. I also incorporate the drills that I find most helpful from professional tennis players. I enjoy working with players of all ages and levels. My specialties include modern strokes, footwork, volleys, power serve, developing mental toughness, as well as addressing players' specific challenges. After each session, I want my athlete to feel an immediate and concrete improvement in his or her game. If you have questins, please feel free to contact me at 201-312-4163. Language Spoken: English, Chinese, Taiwanese, and Cantonese.

As an upcoming senior in high school, summer vacation is a busy time for me. I have to prepare for not only my upcoming school year, but also for college. I've only taken lessons with Ken for about 3 months, and the first thing I noticed was how kind and flexible he was to my schedule changes. No matter how last minute the schedule change is, he was always willing to comply with a smile. Not only is he extremely kind, but he is also very precise with correcting my form, even adjusting my racket angle the slightest bit if it'll help me improve my swing. Although I've played tennis for 5 years, he's immensely improved my game so that I could go into this year's season with new techniques and a better, more fluent swing. Ken is also very easy to talk to and will make the lesson fun by talking about whatever interests you as the student, whether it may be about politics or what you had for breakfast. Ken is an all-around great tennis teacher.

My kids ages 11 and 12 are taking lessons with Ken and he is a terrific coach. He is very patient and thorough when explaining any corrections. My kids have taken lessons through the local YMCA for 2 years, but I feel in just 2 lessons, their swing has greatly improved. I highly recommend Ken for lessons!

Coach Ken is a very great tennis coach with full patient to train my son. His training and techniques are professional. I am sure my son will learn the core of tennis from Coach Ken.
