What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Teaching them the proper form while having a good time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
i have been teaching 30+ years indoors and outdoors. I am USTPA certified.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $50.00 for the first four student.
How did you get started teaching?
At the age of 15 I began teaching in the community that I grew up in. One of my neighbors asked me to teach his young children and my career took off. I fell in love with teaching.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students of all levels but pride myself on teaching young children. I have also coached woman's USTA playing teams.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am lucky enough to attend the US Open with a qualifying player. It is very exciting to be part of her success. I have been attending the US open for as long as I can remember. It is my favorite part of September.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find an instructor that has a teaching style that works for you and enjoy your lesson. Make sure all the basics are in place.
