I have a passion for cooking and Asian cuisine. With over thirty years of professional food service experience I attribute my most important cooking lessons as the ones I received at a young age from my grandmother. She taught me the essence of food and what makes it so important in our lives. Growing up in the Philippines meant fresh vegetables, fresh fruits, trips to the market for meats and fish. The Philippines is the crossroads of asian cuisine and infused with flavors from all over the world and she taught me how to embrace those flavors.
