About
I help dance moms support their passionate young dancers, ages 7-14, when they are feeling limited in their progress through 1:1 sessions that give dancers the tools to safely progress their technique.
We aim to develop dance abilities and dancer wellness with uniquely designed education programs for individual dancers. Programs for improved flexibility, strength, stability, alignment, and/or fitness within your dance technique are designed to build bodily awareness and prevent injuries.
Meet your unique needs, improve your abilities, and develop your dance artistry.

Are You ready to dance better than ever before?
Dancers and parents/gaurdians are encouraged to first call for a free consultation session to see how BCA can best guide to improved abilites.
An Initial Assessment is conducted prior to the onset of lessons to allow us to meet with the dancer and their support system, assess dancer knowledge and understandings, and evaluate the space in your home where lessons will take place. From there, an individualized progressive program is designed to improve dance technique.

How did you get started teaching?
As an undergraduate student at Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University, Brittany discovered a multitude of chronic injuries she had sustained as a young dancer and even experienced some acute injuries during her training. This difficult time inspired her to explore the world of dance science as well as the sciences of the body to better understand the injuries she had experienced. Her personal journey for knowledge led her to work closely with athletic trainers, peers, educators, and even medical professionals in the dance field. It was during this time of seeking knowledge that Brittany became aware of the overwhelming gap between the worlds of science and dance.
As she continued her studies towards her Master's for Dance Education (K-12) and her teaching in private dance studios, Brittany realized that young dancers were missing out on developing their understanding of their priceless instrument, their own uniquely beautiful bodies. Miss Brittany created BC Artistry with the intention of helping bridge the gap between dance and science for young dancers to support the development of their dance artistry.
