My name is Brendan Healy. I have been a drummer all of my life and have toured all over the country multiple times. I am currently a signed artist under Entertainment One with my band American Grim. I come from all different music styles from Rock to Metal to hip hop to funk. I have had the opportunity to play with some extremely talented musicians and have had the opportunity to record in some of the most Prestigious recording studios in the world. My goal is to help you create who you are as a musician. To help find your voice and to help build who you become as a musician. And overall to help motivate to create your own personal style through certain warm ups, building grooves and fills that help break you through. I find an extreme enjoyment in teaching drums and watching people grow into being talented musicians with finesse, power, speed and accuracy. Join me. Let's rock 🤘🏻
I've been behind the drum set since I was very young. I just want to pass it on. I have been teaching drums for awhile now. I love seeing people into great musicians who also pass it on.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first steps will start out by finding a little bit more about you and what your interest are. Then we are going to hop right in and start working around the drums. I will start you out with a few different types of grooves and explain ways to elaborate on them. Then we will start talking about fills and rudiments. I will show you on our first lesson different styles of what I like to call "Break Through" beats.
