Chris Tyler offers tennis lessons for beginners up to advanced players. With a deep passion for the game, he is eager and qualified to teach tennis for kids and adults. He has been teaching full time for more than 15 years starting at Nassau Racquet Club, Pennsbury racquet club, now he is at Philmont country club. He is professionally certified through the PTR. Having worked with beginners of all ages all the way up to advanced division 1 college players and former professional players. He is qualified to work with players with any ntrp rating ranging from 2.5 all the way to 7.0! He runs group clinics for juniors, and adults, including team practices for men, women and mixed doubles teams. He also teaches private lessons with individuals looking to expedite there progress. He is constantly studying the men's and women's pro game in order to give his clients the most factual and helpful instruction. He believes strongly that each individual will have different needs but most people learn best through the use of video analysis which he uses on a daily basis. He believes most of the problems with traditional instruction are that there is so much information out there that is contradictory and unless the student can see exactly what they are doing wrong they will continue to do it wrong. Through studying high speed video from the pro level and comparing the various styles and techniques there are certain commonalities and checkpoints that everyone can follow. He looks forward to working with anybody who's interested in improving their game dramatically
