Nina-Juilliard Dancer

I started dance professionally at Shanghai Dance Academy as a Chinese dance major. I mastered in both Chinese classical and folk dance. As one of the 12 girls who was accepted to The Juilliard School Dance division, I studied ballet, modern and choreography. I found myself especially interesting in choreography because of my diverse background of both Chinese and American culture. My works have been presented in Juilliard workshops and other platforms. Last past summer, I was invited back as a guest teacher and performer to teach the summer intensive and performed my original works in the gala along with two original pieces I created for the students.
