About
Vegas Ballroom Dance stands for one thing: quality. I believe that having a skilled and knowledgable dance instructor makes the difference between improving quickly while having fun, and struggling for months.
As the head teacher at Vegas Ballroom Dance, I was a 3-time US National Finalist, member of the US National Team, and am currently the only dance teacher in the state of Nevada to be highly commended and hold certification from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance.
With over a decade of teaching experience, I have helped countless dancers, and I would love to help you as well!

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching over 10 years ago, while I was training for the US National Championships. I found that teaching pushed me to be solid in my knowledge and understanding of core principles of dancing, and I discovered I loved teaching so much that I decided to make it my career. I took my professional exams, which I passed with highest honors, and took on teaching full time.
I just love introducing others to the art of dancing, and helping aspiring dancers improve, just like my teachers helped me.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have had students from 7 years old to 87 years old, of all body types and of all athletic abilities. I have taught casual dancers who just want to learn a new hobby, couples planning their wedding dances, and competitive dancers determined to be all they can be.
I have been told more times than I can count that "I have tried dancing before and I just can't do it - I have two left feet." In my experience, that has never been the case. If you can walk, I can get you dancing. Guaranteed.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Always make sure you hire a teacher who has had a successful competitive dance career, not just someone who has been teaching for a long time.
I was a 3-time US National Finalist in Ballroom & Latin, I have 10+ years of teaching experience, and I am the only teacher in the state of Nevada professionally certified to teach Ballroom and Latin Dancing by the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance, the most rigorous and prestigious dance certification organization in the world. That's why the competitive Ballroom Dance Team of the University of Nevada Las Vegas trusts me to be their coach.
