Drum Lessons With Will
About
I loved learning to play the drums, but I had to learn everything on my own. Now I want to give back to other growing, aspiring players by sharing what I've learned in over 10 years of playing. My hope to instill good playing habits and answer clarifying questions for students, and take songs they're familiar with and help them break down, understand, and play those songs.
I really enjoy watching students gain confidence in their abilities as they work hard to master new and challenging songs and drum parts.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I assess what level they are playing at, as well as get an idea of what kind of music they enjoy playing. Next, it's important to understand what their goals are for playing and what they hope to achieve from lessons. Finally, I will create a curriculum comprised of different "homework" assignments designed to instill good playing habits and advance students' mastery of playing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been taught by the best teacher, experience! I've played drums for over 12 years, recorded many songs in the studio, and played big venues like El Corazon and the Hard Rock Cafe.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing for lessons is $25 for 30-minute lessons, $50 for 60-minute lessons.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
The most important thing for students to consider is what they are hoping to get out of lessons. If they are hoping to advance in a particular style, it's important that they have a teacher which is a good fit.
