About

I offer full spectrum, "All Inclusive", drum lessons, and there will be no need to purchase books or any written lesson material. All lesson materials are included with your lesson each week, along with a video recording of your lesson (which will be emailed to you after your lesson is complete). I teach everything from technique and reading, to showmanship... live and in the studio. How to write record and play drums for your band, yourself, and for podcasting. No experience or equipment necessary. I can get you started playing on a couch pillow with wooden spoons, if that's all you have. Most importantly , I'll teach you how to have fun while learning the skills you will need to become whatever level of drummer you want to be. I specialize in giving new players, young and old, the best start they can find anywhere. All lesson materials are included with my all inclusive lesson package. Let's get started playing drums now!

I am a lifelong student of drums, and I am always learning new things to pass on to my students. I love playing drums and figuring out how to learn more in less time. I love creating my own exclusive drills to improve skills for myself and my students. I get so excited when I figure out a better way to practice a basic skills and love trying out new ways to apply what I learn and teach to real life drumming situations. I believe that it takes more than knowledge to have power. You must learn how to apply your knowledge first, and that's where your true power will come from.

What I like best about taking drum lessons from Danny is he makes it fun! Everything is all inclusive with his lesson packages. I love that I dont have to go out and buy a bunch of additional books to take his class. Also, Im noticeably becoming a faster drummer thanks to his philosophy of mastering the basics. I highly recommend Danny as an instructor - plus hes super cool!

Danny has a great way of teaching that makes it really easy and fun to learn. He has everything you need for your lesson, ready to go, so I saved a lot of $ by not having to purchase any drum books.

    Frequently asked questions

I like to start with a brief interview to get an idea of where the student is at. I start with checking stick grip, reading abilities, knowlage of rudements. Then we would start on these three things and get going on the basics. Of course there always has to be lots of fun involved when learning drums, so we will always be working on fun drum beats, fills, and learning to play songs.

I am a PIT of Hollywood Graduate, studied at the Los Angeles Recording School, as well as having performed in the The Lane Comunity Collage Symphany Orchestra and percusion ensembles for two years. I have studied with Joe Parcarro (father of the famous Jeff Parcarro/ Drummer of TOTO)Cassey Schurelle(head of Drums and Percussion at Berkley School Of Music), Steave Haughton ( Big Band Drums Mosnter), Efran Toro and Richie Garcia (Latin Drumming Greats), Tommy Igoe, and more. I have played in multiple Major lable groups, and I appear on over 20 comercialy realesed recordings, both as the drummer, and producer/engineer.

    I charge $35 per lesson.

I started by teaching myself on a weekly basis, after I graduated from PIT, and since then have developed a lot of learning shortcuts to enable me to teach myself to learn faster. I wanted to pass this knowlage on, so I decided to start teaching durring this year's shutdowns.

Mostly beginners, and a few intermediate/advanced

    students.

I would make sure the teacher has actualy played in a real life band situation, and not just in a bedroom or classroom.

I would also make sure there is an orginized, step by step, lesson plan that includes a focus on the basics ,along with brod spectrum style studies, which is taught on a gradient to enable you to grasp the matertial in a gradual manor.

What are your favorite types of music to play? Who are your favorite bands? What do you want to do with your drumming? Play in a band? Be in a marching band? Orchestra? Studio Drummer? become a teacher?

How much time am I willing to practice per week?
