J & R Dance Studio was opened by Joy Barnard to bring beginning and seasoned dancers to the joy and skill of ballroom and latin dancing.

We make beautiful dancers. Our studio sets itself apart from other studios by concentrating on the basics that form the foundation of great dancing. Students are paced according to individual skill level and goals. We can fix bad dancing.

Out of her passion for dance Joy has been studying and performing dance for over 10 years. She enjoys teaching and competing but especially loves to see her students excel.

She medal tests nationally at the Gold level. Unlike many other dance instructors Joy holds three national teaching certificates.
