About
"Dance Saved My Life" Growing up in the rough streets of Brooklyn the focus it took to reach my goals was powerful! Being raised in the Caribbean added rich culture and great discipline. Then to receive a scholarship to train at California Institute of the Arts was magical. Upon graduation I founded Everything Brooklyn @Becky's Dance Program. We have created a culture of dancers whom will receive range of dance styles, discipline, performance quality, culture, choreography opportunities plus more. My experience includes working in non-profit organizations such as the Police Athletic League, Groundworkinc, and PureElements as a dance specialist. I've taught dance for over 15 years in underprivileged neighborhoods throughout NYC and in wealthy communities. Most recently I've obtained certificates in Childern & Adult Yoga.
I enjoy the challenge of creating choreography then teaching it to students. I also enjoy training students in dance styles that make them happy.
