Laurie Ann’s acting philosophy is all about being in the moment, active listening, building confidence, expanding creativity, supporting others and most importantly having fun!
I love every aspect of acting. It builds confidence, helps adults and children to discover their true passions. Sometines its not acting but they will discover things about themselves that brings them to their passions. It gives me great joy to watch my students make discoveries about themselves, others their surroundings. It is such a mix of emotional work, body work, finding your voice, using your imagination. Listening, being in the moment, working off the other person. There are so many forms of acting, theatre, television, film but all of it starts with a foundation that I love to help my students build. I enjoy helping them get grounded and build a foundation that is unshakeable.
Drama opens doors to love, self acceptance, fun and so much more.
