What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Getting to know the students and there level at first. And take it from there
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied percussion from the age of 11 to 18 at Harlem school of the Arts. I studied under the feasts suck as Max Roach. Did a PBS special with Max. I studied a the University of Massachusetts at amhurst Jazz scholarship. Studdied and performed undergrad with Billy Taylor, Yusef Lateef, ect..
Aside from rhat I've been teaching for 2@ years now.

How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching by watching my art teachers outside of school as well as in school. My grand mother was a science teacher. My mother retired as a special education teacher.
