We are a small school with more individualized attention. I have been teaching for 28 years in New Rochelle. I have taught in many of the afterschool programs in New Rochelle. My mother was a dance teacher and my daughter teaches with me now so it seems to be a family thing.
I love working with children and I love to dance. It is very rewarding to watch the children grow and learn over the year. In teaching dance the students learn dance steps and routines. They work on balance, strength, coordination, flexibility and memory. They also work on life skills following directions, socializing with other students and respect for one another.
