About
I’m an acting coach, freelance theatre director, and deep space explorer credited for work on multiple Tony-Award-winning Broadway musicals and plays, including that ‘little engine that could,’ Hamilton. My roster of stage and screen actors includes Oscar-nominee Quvenzhané Wallis, among others.
I think way too many actors spend countless hours preparing for auditions that never pan out. It's exhausting and demoralizing- and it costs them hard-earned money -- at a time when most can least afford to lose any.
With my help, you'll audition confidently and make a lasting impression on the casting team. I want to help put you in the best possible position to succeed in the audition room -- and beyond!
I have thought a great deal about practical learning for actors. I hold the conviction that everyone can act if they are given the right kind of support, encouragement, and their own tailor-made approach to training. Devising a customizable approach to actor training both motivates and drives me. We are all so wildly and wonderfully unique and every day chemically different than the day before – I envision an approach to actor training that acknowledges, supports, and celebrates our individual and undeniable changeableness.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I do an assessment. I want to hear what the actor hopes to accomplish and then step through a series of exercises and/or scene or monologue work. I want to make sure I'll be able to help and that there is a strong connection between myself and the potential student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a history and theatre arts degree from the College of the Holy Cross and over twenty-five years of learning on my feet with actors in non-profit and commercial theatre as well as on camera.
