About
My classes entail dance fitness with flare. First time hearing of zumba? Well, it's A PARTY! For anyone and everyone. (My class age range has been 15-70) Zumba combines both dance and fitness in a pretty interesting liberating twist. Inspired by Latin rhythm it now includes world rhythms. Some of the world rhythms in my class include Afro-Beat, Belly dancing, Bhangra and Bollywood and of course, LATIN!
It's basically "Simon Says" but funkier.
All I ask is that you modify, let yourself break it free and have fun :D
I've been ZIN certified since 2015. I desire to spread my passion of dance, health and happiness as well as to teach the rhythms of the world through Zumba. I strive to inspire and motivate my students to find themselves in the music, as well as maintain a healthy physique + mindset.
everything.

overall my experiences in her class have been a blast.

How did you get started teaching?
When I first joined the Zumba community in 2008 I knew there was no possibility of me leaving. It was then I decided that one day I’d be certified. I have always loved dance, and have been in ballroom dance my entire childhood. Eventually I started making my own Zumba routines. I practiced my heart out and I became a licensed Zumba Instructor on May 1st, 2015.
I started working at Anchor Dance Studio in Oradell New Jersey of January of 2016.
I worked there for 2 and a half years.
Then I began a class at Impact Zone in Norwood NJ.
I then began to teach twice a week during the school year at my college, Fairleigh Dickinson.
I still currently teach at FDU and to better my schedule left Norwood to branch out to LA FITNESS and currently work there 4 days a week.

Like I said, my style includes a mix of dance fitness with world rhythms. I tailor my choreography to my classes, so that everyone can participate despite experience, age, or physical ability.
In addition to my regular classes I hold Zumbathon Fundraisers. Basically my Zumbathons are a 2 hour Zumba party! Then we fuel up with refreshments and have a raffle. All proceeds made go to the said organization. There are so many organizations I would like to support and Zumba has granted me the ability to spread awareness.
What types of students have you worked with?
