I teach beginners as well as proficient students of all ages. I help the student find their own sound and develop good technical approaches based on the individual's current abilities.

Teaching is much more than just mechanical “coaching” of violin playing technology. Every student, even the youngest one, is first of all a person, a musician. And I always tried to treat my students as junior colleagues, not “teaching” them something, but helping them to understand better such an all-encompassing world as music is. That is why the violin teaching system I created is called "Sensible System of Violin Playing". This System includes the experience and best achievements of the practical violin school.

Hello! I am an educator and freelance violin teacher offering lessons Forest Hills, NY. I have over 20 years of teaching experience and cater to all ages. I specialize in the Suzuki method, and have completed training in violin books 1 through 8 at NY's premiere Suzuki school, School for Strings. While there, my mentors included Allen Lieb and Ekaterina Gerson. My students have gone on to attend Juilliard pre-college division, play in ensembles such as NJ Youth Symphony, and achieve perfect scores at NYSSMA. I strive to make my studio inclusive and take a holistic approach to working with my students by recognizing their individual strengths

I teach all ages and all level. Currently, I am an orchestra teacher at Lawrence Elementary. I teach 4th-6th grade orchestra. I also prepare students for NYSSMA and all county.

I've been teaching violin, viola, and chamber music in the Manhattan School of Music Precollege Division for over 20 years. I have performed in more than 200 U.S. cities, as well as in Canada, Korea, Austria, France, and Russia, so I know what it takes to be a performer.

A native of Taiwan, I received my Bachelor of Music degree and Master's degree from Mannes School of Music. I began my musical training on violin and piano at 5.  As a performing artist, I have given solo, ensemble, and orchestral performances at various events and concerts in the U.S. and Taiwan. Her most recent collaboration within New York City has brought her to venues such as Alice Tully Hall and Carnegie Hall. Ms. Isadora has had more than five years of teaching experience. She has a strong passion for teaching and enjoys sharing her stories and love of music with students of all ages and levels.
