Surge Studio is a true dance home for students of all ages and levels. Experience the Surge vibe, Surge love, and dance technique as you flourish in knowledge, confidence, and life skills that go beyond the dance floor. All of our dance faculty members are currently working in the dance industry ranging in work from music videos, live performances, commercials and more.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We offer different levels and age groups for our students, and we cater to each child's skill level and comfort individually. Youth students can try our 2 for $10 trial period in which they try 2 classes for just $10. Adult students' first class is complimentary. You can sign up online, over the phone or in person!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our owner, Carly Harper, and 1 of our instructors, Nina Johnson, have a BFA in dance studies and have danced in commercials, music videos and live performances. Our 3 other dance instructors, Kevaughn Isaacs, Ginny Germakian, and Alim Scarpelli have credentials that include dancing with Rihanna, in music videos, commercials, live performances, private events and more!

Youth students can try our 2 for $10 trial period in which they try 2 classes for just $10. Regular pricing for youth classes is $15/class. Adult students' first class is complimentary. Regular pricing for adult classes is $10/class, $45/6-class punch card, or $40/month to become a Surge Studio member and get unlimited classes and discounted private sessions.

We have worked with all types of students! Young, old, special needs: all of our students are happy and eager to dance with us!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Consistency is key when training in dance.
