Robyne Parrish Acting Coach/Producer/Director - most recently directed Hamlet virtually for Seton Hill Univeristy and Musical of Musicals the Musical at Off the Wall in Carnegie to rave reviews. She holds a BFA in Drama from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and was a Graduate candidate for three years in Theatre and Pedagogy at Point Park University. Parrish spent the five years in the position of Artistic Director at the Gilbert Theatre in NC. She now resides in New York where she works as an actor, director and coach.
Before that, Parrish spent twelve years living and working in NYC, where she founded/Artistic Director for six years, the Sonnet Repertory Theatre Company (now in its 14th season) and was assistant to the Company Manager of WICKED on Broadway. During her time in NYC, Parrish worked off-Broadway as an actress (The York, The Mint) and directed a number of plays for various festivals and off-off theatre companies (Musicals Tonight!, NYICF). In Pittsburgh, Parrish has worked as actor, director and playwright at City Theatre, Quantum, Bricolage and Pittsburgh Rep, to name a few. Robyne has been a theatre educator for more than 15 years directing and teaching students from grade school through the collegiate level, in NYC, NC, PA and beyond.
I love helping young people and adults realize their dreams. I strive to give them to tools they need for a future in acting. I am both a business coach and an acting coach with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the professional world.
