We teach SharQuí the Bellydance Workout® and Basic Bellydance Technique & Combos. In SharQuí, we teach fun, simple, aerobic belly dance choreographies using the add-on method which includes breakdown and repetition of each movement so everyone can learn easily. We make sure students learn proper belly dance form and technique, and keep their heart rate up for the entire hour! In Basic Bellydance we learn simple Egyptian-style combinations to Middle Eastern music, thoroughly breaking down each move with proper technique. We are a small school with more individualized attention. I have been teaching for 28 years in New Rochelle. I have taught in many of the afterschool programs in New Rochelle. My mother was a dance teacher and my daughter teaches with me now so it seems to be a family thing. I love working with children and I love to dance.
