Planet Dance Cincinnati

Planet Dance Cincinnati is a professional, New York–style dance studio in Cincinnati, OH, serving Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and surrounding areas. The studio offers flexible, drop‑in classes for adults, teens, and youth—beginner through advanced—without long‑term commitments. Students can take single classes, use class cards, or select a monthly unlimited option. All classes are open to the public, and schedules can be customized, with directors available to build individualized curricula.

Training emphasizes education through new combinations and choreography in every class, paired with consistent technical development across multiple genres. Instruction is led by working professionals with credits on Broadway productions such as Moulin Rouge, CATS, Footloose, Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, and Wicked; in major ballet companies; and on projects with artists including Mel B, Justin Timberlake, Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, Prince, and Janet Jackson.

Founded and directed by Missy Lay‑Zimmer and Andrew Hubbard—veterans of Broadway and the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular—the studio supports recreational, pre‑professional, and professional dancers. Planet Dance Cincinnati is also home to Exhale Dance Tribe, a non‑profit contemporary performance company that provides pre‑professional dancers with opportunities to train and perform at a professional level. Additional offerings include a Pre‑Professional Program, Kids Club, workshops and events, and custom wedding dance preparation.
