After graduating from the University of Cincinnati with Bachelor's degrees in Biology and Fine Arts, I was fortunate enough to study at the Paul Ingbretson Studio in the Boston School method of painting. With a legacy passing through the Boston School to French Academic Painting, this rigorous training imparts a foundation of time-honored techniques that blend solid academic drawing with beautifully seen impressionistic color. I would like to help those who understand that drawing from photographs is not learning but copying. I am interested in serious students who want to grow and learn how to grow. I am offering a friendly critique but require a commitment for a better results. The minimal course is six lessons.
