FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Generally we will start with a consultation, discussing why dance, their expectations and goals, followed by some questioning in order to determine the best course of action.

I have a general class structure that always involves breaking things down and I also like to go at the pace of each class or student. Classes are intimate and personalized for retention.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Our toddler + kids classes range from $25 - $45 monthly. Our kids/ teen classes range from $50-$90 based on amount of classes.

We offer multiple class, sibling, and referral discounts!

How did you get started teaching?

I had a Dance + Fitness class in high school and since I danced at a studio I was able to teach classes for some units and then in college I began formally teaching at studios around Northeast Ohio!

What types of students have you worked with?

Varying abilities, experience, size, and age! Every one has a body and we all have a way to be in motion. It may look different on everyone but all have the ability to dance whether for expression, fun, or recreation!

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

We hosted our WINTER WONDERLAND Showcase and I loved being able to transform our studio into a Winter Wonderland!

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Make sure they are teaching you what YOU want! Some teachers may be very skilled in a specific area so make sure they are honoring your requests, making you feel comfortable, and giving you attention. The more learning styles your teacher is familiar with, the better! If they can break things down how YOU need, then you should be all set!

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Where did you train?

Who are some of your mentors?

What do you do currently?

How do you stay up to date on your teaching?
