About
We are a small family owned barn and we give lessons to beginners, mostly children, but also adult beginners. We try to keep the price affordable and offer flexibility in scheduling, for example, everyother week lessons, and a 24 hour cancellation pomlicy instead of collecting for an entire period with no refunds as some barns do. Our horses are very safe, tried and true. We seek to practice our faith in our business and helping people to find health and peace in being with the horses is one of our goals.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We always work siDE by side to teach how to brush a horse, clean his hooves and prepare to ride. We will offer someone to walk beside the student if the student wants, even to lead the horse.
We start with easy patterns and circles to teachieve elementary control, and work up to using the students entire body to communicate with the horse. Hands, legs, words and sounds, and finally the seat are the tools of riding. We teach them to use them all in a balanced seat .
The student can learn at his or her own pace in small groups of 2 or 3, or" in private lessons if desired.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our instructors have had a lifetime of riding and showing horses and they known their trade. ! myself started riding when I was 7 and have owned about 10 horses over my lifetime.
