With an infectious enthusiasm for flute teaching and a commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment, Antonio Rion is dedicated to guiding his students towards success. Antonio's teaching style is marked by an upbeat approach, ensuring that each lesson is tailored to meet the unique goals and aspirations of his students.

Antonio's musical journey began at Kent State University, where he earned his BM in flute performance. Under Professor Diane McCloskey-Rechner, he honed his skills and immersed himself in a variety of musical ensembles. From the KSU Orchestra and Wind Ensemble to the Opera Pits and chamber groups, Antonio's dedication to his craft shone through in every performance. Notably, he had the privilege of participating in masterclasses with renowned flutists Sooyun Kim and Saeran St. Christopher.

Continuing to thrive in his musical pursuits, Antonio remains an active flute teacher and performer in the vibrant Kent area. He continues to refine his skills under the guidance of Dr. Lindsay Leach-Spark. As a testament to his commitment to comprehensive musicianship, Antonio also delves into the art of flute and instrument repair. He receives invaluable mentorship from Kirsten Hall at Woodwind Workshop in Cleveland, expanding his knowledge and expertise in this crucial aspect of flute craftsmanship.
