Trutek Dance Co. is the midwest's premiere one of a kind dance academy and the only dance company that has both a school for training for kids and adults, as well as a professional adult performance company. Our premiere dance school is located in Avon, Ohio in a 7000 sq foot state of the art facility that has multiple classrooms, students lounges for studying between classes, our own in house theatre, professional top of the line sprung dance floors, full kitchen, air condition/heat, lots of natural light & more. Our dance school is the only dance school in Northeast Ohio that offers a college preparatory program with full transcripts upon graduation, portfolio with letters of recommendatin for college, video audition reel, professional headshots, college scholarship opportunities & more. We train students in both commercial dance & concert dance tracks including classical ballet, pointe, jazz, broadway jazz, tap,competitive ballroom & latin dance, contemporary, acrobatics & tricks, heels, hip hop, pom dance, dance for videos/film, master classes with current choreographers from Los Angeles & New York, Full summer dance intensives & more. We offer many performance opportunities in our youth dance company & competition dance teams. Unlike many competition studios in the Cleveland & Lorain area we teach you how to dance instead of teaching the same few dances throughout the year for competitions. Our highly educated teachers will develop you into a dancer that will stand out in auditions & on stage. Many of our graduates have received full scholarships to college & have been accepted into prestigious colleges. We have small class sizes so we can give you one on one attention. OUr dancers advance quickly as our dance educators teach a very high level of technique. We teach children starting at age 6 to college students & adults. You can be in our youth dance company or one of our competition teams or choose to do both. There is something for every dancer. There are no high costume fees for shows as we offer parents costume rentals & we do not mark up competition fees like most dance studios in the area.
