We offer one of the most well-rounded pre-professional dance training programs in central Ohio. All of our instructors have several years of teaching and professional experience. We welcome all ages and abilities and our recreational dancers receive the same time and attention as our company students. Our costuming and content are age appropriate and always family friendly. We strive to provide an atmosphere where each child can feel safe, gain confidence, learn self discipline, and truly enjoy the art of dance.

Our teachers share a passion for working with children and fostering a love of dance. We strive not only to teach excellent technique and showmanship, but also to raise disciplined, independent, and confident young men and women.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

New students are welcome to come try any genre of class they choose free of charge. They may enroll in any beginner level class or an instructor may recommend a higher level class.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

All of our instructors have college-level training and/or professional performance experience.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

We do have standard pricing. All details are available on our website. Please contact us for pricing on private lessons and special group rates.

How did you get started teaching?

I began teaching while studying dance in college and fell in love with the teaching process. I've nowe enjoyed over 10 years of working with the next generation of dancers.

What types of students have you worked with?

We have worked with students from ages 18 months and up, preschool through professional, all ages and abilities are welcome.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

You need to find a teacher that you are comfortable with, who will be honest with you and who will encourage you. You also need to have an instructor who is mindful of safety and is very knowledgeable about proper alignment, conditioning, and stretching technique. This is especially important if you are looking to study ballet en pointe.
