How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching while studying dance in college and fell in love with the teaching process. I've nowe enjoyed over 10 years of working with the next generation of dancers.
What types of students have you worked with?
We have worked with students from ages 18 months and up, preschool through professional, all ages and abilities are welcome.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
You need to find a teacher that you are comfortable with, who will be honest with you and who will encourage you. You also need to have an instructor who is mindful of safety and is very knowledgeable about proper alignment, conditioning, and stretching technique. This is especially important if you are looking to study ballet en pointe.
