About
My first inspiration for dance was Michael Jackson who is still an inspiration, as I got older I learned that I can use dance to minister and teach others. I love how I use dance as an outlet and how I can use dance to express myself in the good times and the bad.
I started teaching in Louisiana to a few friends and then I move to South Dakota and had my first class teaching in a studio. As I was in South Dakota I taught at two other Studios I also had a dance crew with me and we performed at multiple events. After two years of teaching in South Dakota I moved to Alaska and started teaching at Alaska Dance Promotions where I expanded my horizons for salsa and bachata and other Latin dances. After 3 years of learning these new dance styles I now teach Latin dances fused with hip-hop.
As a hip hop dancer I performed and participated in many events and battles and competitions. I've won first place in a two versus two dance battle, travel around the country dancing in multiple competitions such as World of Dance for example, and I've been given an appreciation plaque from the studio that work at today. I studied and trained hard throughout my whole life finding more reasons to dance, more reasons to spread the gospel, and spread the love of Dance around the world for it doesn't matter who you are, what you look like, what you do, how old you are, or even if you're disabled, you can always dance. I can be found on Facebook using my name, and instagram @the.reverb.
