About

I love helping students grow into great actors.

We'll tackle monologues and acting techniques together, discovering and playing with new ideas as they arise.

I acted and directed professionally in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the second-largest theatre city in the U.S. after New York, and am now the artistic director of Blinking Eye Theatre in Portland, Oregon. I'm looking forward to meeting and working with you.

I like the one on one setting and how he dives deep to help you. He is very knowledgeable about theater and has a lot of experience to help you become the best you can be and makes the setting very comfortable so you are ok being vulnerable in your acting! 10/10 would recommend.

    Frequently asked questions

We'll start out by discussing what you're working on and what you want to improve on. This can range from cold reads to very detailed physical theatre training.

I personalize all of my training to what you need. So getting to know your strengths and weaknesses is my top priority. I'll always be direct with you like any good director should.

I majored in Theatre: Directing, Dramaturgy, and Playwriting at Augsburg University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Since then, I've acted in, directed, and written several shows and am now the Artistic Director of Blinking Eye Theatre in Portland, Oregon.

Valentine's Day of 2020, I directed Swipe Right, which performed at Twilight Theater Company. I had the honor of working with an incredible cast and we nearly sold out all of our performances. I cannot wait until live theatre returns and we can do it again.

Find a teacher that you have fun with while being pushed to be the best you can be. I believe we'll have a great time together.
