Heart & Sole Dance
About
I teach bothTap and Jazz for all ages from 6 - 150 year olds. My studio as of now is the only studio that has tap classes for Adults - beginning and Intermediate levels.
I've been teaching for 25* years and u absolutely live it
I truly enjoy teaching what I love which is dance to others. I enjoy the look on the dancers faces when they get the step and execute it with style.
I don't think teaching dance is a job rather I feel it's an opportunity to teach the love ve of art to the community.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My process for all students are the same. If the student is a beginner I have them take a beginning class and I teach dance terminology, basic steps and put these steps to a combination. If the student has experience, I have the student come to the approvals and I will test them to make sure I put them in the correct class.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I continue to attend dance classes with Master Instructors and continue my dance education by attending classes as often as I can within my community.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Very proud that I was hired to chorrea high school production of Spamelot and hired on as faculty.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would suggest to that person to view a class that the instructor teaches and see how they interact with students. If they are still interested then they should take a class from that instructor.

How long have they been teaching?
what are the ages they teach?
