I’ve been dancing with Drew as my private lesson instructor for ten years after some frustration at another dance studio. From the very first lesson I felt at ease with his kind personality. Since then, he has not only been an incredibly patient and knowledgeable instructor, but has proven himself as a fun dance partner at competitions! He knows how to challenge me every step of the way, but also checks in to make sure I’m having fun. He makes me feel that I am the only person that matters during our lesson time with his laser focus on what I need to learn as an individual to improve. I admire seeing him adapt his teaching style individually to each client as he gets to know them and how they learn best. Every client feels they are the only one in his world when he is teaching them… a beautiful world full of dancing with an amazing, talented and caring dance instructor/partner!

Drew Dyson has been my private teacher for nearly ten

years. We have danced at studio socials and at many

ballroom competitions around the country. As a partner,

he is very considerate both of my dancing ability and also

of my safety on crowded ballroom floors. He dances all

styles (American, International and Nightclub), and is a

good sport about doing a particular dance if his partner

wishes, even if it isnt in the traditional ballroom lineup. He

is excellently technically, both in terms of dancing and in

knowledge; he studies books, videos and master classes

and has become practically a walking encyclopedia.

However, he always tries to teach in a way that suits both

my physical ability and my way of thinking. Although we

are both serious about our lessons, we always end up

laughing - I enjoy my lessons and dancing with him.

Your first 30 minute lesson is free! We personalize a program that suits your time, budget, and schedule!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Certifications and training in ISTD, Divida, Arthur Murray, dance vision and more. We also bring champion coaches from all over the World and Us to help train our clients !

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Our students mostly pay as they go based on how many lessons they will need to achieve their goal. Discounts are given based on frequency and commitment!

How did you get started teaching?

I was interested in salsa lessons over 15 years ago and was a "walk in client" they offered me a job, so I figured I would give it a try. My wife, also an owner was a dancer in NYC and has been teaching and dancing her whole life. Including management and Studio Owning since 1998. She started our studio in 2010 and we've been teaching and dancing in Lake Oswego, Oregon since.

What types of students have you worked with?

All types of people, if you have a heartbeat you have rhythm. All dancers have been trained or taught.
