About this pro

Hello,

I have been in the restaurant industry for 35 years. I am also an avid home cook. I love new flavors, techniques and styles of cooking.   I have taught hundreds of people to cook. Although most of that was in a different setting. I will be teaching classes at the community center this October. I am vegetarian. I can teach you to cook meat but my style currently is more fresh healthy and flavorful. I am pretty well-versed in most styles of food. Mediterranean is my current favorite. I’m also good at Italian, Mexican, most styles of Chinese and some Japanese cooking.

I love combining flavors and techniques to get something new and delicious. I also enjoy helping people learn what they like. Introducing new flavors. Introducing new foods.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Make sure to look for someone that listens to what you like. Recipes are not important. Learning to  to develop your skills and your flavor profiles are the most important thing. Those are the things that will help you in the long run to create your own flavors.  And develop your own style of cooking.
