Italian/Seafood/PlantBasedDiet Lessons
About
I have trained my entire life, starting with a little grandmother Italian restaurant in Philadelphia, then onto a fresh seafood restaurant, all of which before I was even 16. I've now trained with multiple celebrity chefs and even brought a restaurant on my own out from the bottom. I have trained many people since my younger years, and would love to spread the love of food with you as well. :)

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First off I would like to know what you know so far so we don't waste time during sessions. Secondly what you would like to learn? And thirdly what price range for the food you would like to be cooking during sessions, ie Ribeyes vs. skirt steak, or lobster vs. tilapia, and so forth. The way I train people is better after getting to know someone, because everyone learns differently.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been being trained since I was 6 years old, and by more chefs then I have the time to list here, but that will also be fun stories for you when we're in lessons!
I also have a certificate in plant based diets.
I never went to culinary school becauseI already knew more then they could teach me by the age of 19, so it would have been a waste of time and money!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$20 an hour, plus the cost of food that we make per lesson.
If you're thoroughly satisfied and feeling generous, I do appreciate and accept tips .
How did you get started teaching?
I started with my first job when new coworkers were hired, but I began to excel with my teaching with my first management position in the service industry.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with kids straight out of culinary school to show them how to run a line effienctly. I have worked with friends and coworkers with zero experience! I have also worked with masters. So all kinds! :)
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I did a private catering event with Jenn Louis some odd months ago that was very fun
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure you know the person isn't just trying to teach you things you could easily learn on YouTube. Make sure they have years experience and are very passionate about food!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Our time. Most Cooks/chefs have extremely busy schedules and are under paid. So make sure you factor that in any way and be a great communicator.
