What is your typical process for working with a new student?
There's an introduction of the subject proposed in a traditional style of teaching/learning environment. Individual drills and dynamics, also collective experiences for groups. All tools that will provide with better understanding of the dance style studied.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Kinesiology and body kinesthetics, martial arts, body percussion and musical training.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My standard price for one hour is $60 dollars. If there's a combo of classes, as in two or more, each class will cost $50. Combo classes credit need to be used in no more the 30 days (1 month) from the date of purchase.
How did you get started teaching?
When I was 14 yo. I was a monitor in one of the classes that I used to take, and one day my master needed to leave and place. After that, I started looking for private classes to teach.
What types of students have you worked with?
Many different types. Children from 6 years to seniors in their 90's. People with disabilities, as blind, deaf, with compromised mobility or mental illness.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for something that you will like, and be honest with your instructor about what you understand and what you don't.
