About

"I have a fever and the only cure is.....MORE COWBELL!!!!"

I've been playing drums for 33 years, have been in several bands, competed in the Guitarcenter Drum Off and have been teaching others how to drum the whole entire way. I started doing it professionally in 2008 and ways had a love for music. I'm classically trained and can play any song by ear. I am tech savvy so whatever platform you wish to learn on be it Zoom, Skype, FaceTime, or anything else I can do. I offer low rates and can use various types of payment options.

Frequently asked questions

I offer the first class for free as an introduction and to see if it's a good fit.  During this time I assess the ability level of the student and prepare lessons accordingly.  I play all genres, so I'd gear the lessons around all of these different types of genres.  The one thing that makes any musician great is the amount of dedication to practice.  If you're willing to dedicate to practice, I'm willing to dedicate my time to make you great.

I have been classically trained and have been playing in several bands over the years.  They were very successful as well.

I had a friend whose kid wanted to learn to play the drums, so began my journey as an instructor.

12 years old on up to adults

I have been seeing some online concerts that were cancelled due to coronavirus and people playing music out of their homes.  I heard Dave Grohl has been doing this.  I think this is a very cool thing to do considering the situation we are in.

Pick someone that both inspires you and you get along with.  Also, remember that you get out of this what you put in.  You are only going to be great if you practice....A LOT!

What kind of music they would like to play and how long do they think it would take to be able to play it?
How much time per day should they dedicate to practice?

What is their learning style?  Hands on, verbal, visual, tonal, etc.
