What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First we figure out what the goal is. From there, it’s all about you! If there’s a song, movie, tv show, play, etc that motivates you; that’s where you start. I always focus on what will motivate my students to realize the talents and abilities they have.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a professional film producer, director and choreographer. I have a MA in staging and choreography, 33 years of dance training, and 15 years of teaching experience. I have coached over 200 actors, models and dancers throughout my career.

I work with what you can afford, as an artist, I’ve been in tough spots more than once and I believe it should be about the content and quality being made available to everyone.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching to offset the cost of my own classes.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have taught students of all abilities and ages. From flash mobs to bridal parties to 3 year olds to Silver Sneakers, I’ve taught them all!

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Don’t be intimidated by a teacher’s resume. We got the experience so that one day we can share it with you! Be honest about your level of experience and any physical or even monetary limitations you have. We’re people too, most of us will understand and try to work with you because we love what we do!
