Hi! I'm Angelo. I have been a Tennis pro and director of clubs in both Europe and U.S.A for 30 years. Helping players improve their game, building their confidence and skill set in a fun, energetic way is something I am passionate about. My experience is geared towards first time players and sparking their love of the game. I'm proud of bringing young Tennis enthusiasts to the level of collegiate scholarships and national ranking. I am also the author of two Tennis based books, act as a professional career consultant and have invented various training devices. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start with a discussion of goals and then a skills evaluation.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have held a USPTA professional certificate for the last 30 years, attended teaching seminars and exchanged information with other coaches and players on an international level.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My high performance lessons run $60. A 10 pack drops to $50 per lesson. Semi private lessons are $35 each player.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching out of my passion for sports and interaction with people.
What types of students have you worked with?
Male & female, young & old, all levels & abilities, some competitive players, some just hobbiest. I learn something new about teaching with every student.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I get excited seeing any student enter a competition.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Finding a good coach is like choosing a doctor. Ask a lot of questions and decide if you can trust them to help you achieve your goals.
