I eat,sleep and drink drums.I teach, I perform and I also study with a drum teacher myself. I’m also involved in The Philly Drum Project.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Every student is different and they all have different goals.Generally I like to get their coordination to be able to get some basics down on the drum kit.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been performing over 30 years and teaching over 15.I also study with a teacher/mentor.

How did you get started teaching?
My Moms friend wanted her daughter to take lessons from me.I ended up truly enjoyed teaching.
What types of students have you worked with?
Everybody from 7 years old to 50.Guys and girls.I have also worked with some autistic kids.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We had David Garibaldi do a Masterclass at our Philly Drum Project.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
To do a lot of listening.
