Theatre And Me
About
Theatre and Me, founded in 2013 by actor/director/educator Marcus A Siler, has been educating and training students in the art of acting, directing, production, writing and much more. We are all about positivity and the growth of the individual. Marcus is here to help you bring your true essence out through the medium of theatre and the arts. This is achieved by giving the students an opportunity to practice what they learn in their sessions. Acting on a professional union set to working on the production team, these are some of the outlets that are offered to give you, the student, an opportunity to build and grow your technique in this vast art form. You were born with an ability, let me show you how to bring it out and use it in this art form.
In addition to classes, Marcus A Siler also offers monologue development, reel editing/creating, fun night out events, event videotaping, production directing and much much more.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
There is a free consultation where I get a chance to get to know the prospective student and for them to ask questions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Theatre (Acting and Director) from East Stroudsburg, PA. Plus, I've been acting professionally for years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My standard price for youth under 17 is $35/session or if you book 4 sessions in a row/once a week you save $20, cost $120 for month session.
How did you get started teaching?
I've been teaching for programs, schools (private and public), afterschool programs and other organizations for over 20 years. I got started because I wanted to give back and help youth the same way that I was helped by my teachers when I was younger.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students from preschool up to older adults.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My company won several film festival awards for our films that our students were a part of.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Don't just hire a teacher based on their name or the name of the company. Not all teachers are for every student.
