As a teacher, I teach from active experience as a professional drummer! I am gigging, recording consistently and give all my students the secrets to REAL drumming that you can only learn from a REAL drummer! :) I don't teach my students what to practice, I teach them HOW to practice, and how to enjoy a lifetime of being a better drummer than they were a day before. Not only will I help you become the better drummer you than you ever thought possible, I will invest countless life skills into you which will impact every area of your life in a profound way! :)
There's nothing I love more than seeing my students find deep joy and excitement in their own musical expression on the drums! I love helping my students find their own voice, confidence and love for the drums, and love seeing them reach a skill level that they never thought they could! Everyone of my students reaches a level that they only thought other people that were "better" than them could! I will show you how amazing you truly are!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My goal is to get to know the specific, unique goals and desires of each individual student! I never apply a one size fits all approach to my teaching. Once I understand exactly what the student wants, we form a plan on how to efficiently and enjoyably reach their goals.
