About this pro

Hola estudiantes! I am a native Spanish speaker born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I attended the University of Buenos Aires and received my bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from that institution. I have been teaching spanish in the US for more than 6 years !! I worked as a Human Resources Generalist and in charge of Recruitment processes in an very important and prestigious US Government entity. I have been speaking English throughout my entire life and have fluent command in reading, writing, listening and speaking the English language. Furthermore, my past position in a US Government entity in Buenos Aires and my experience here in the United States have developed my knowledge and understanding of American culture and communication.
Both the Spanish language and Latin culture are becoming more present in the United States. I truly love my culture and my language, so the opportunity to teach them to other people who are from a different background excites me. Since I am from Argentina, I will offer a unique perspective to the students on what life is like in South America. I will serve as an example for what it is like to listen to a native speaker and I will be able to evaluate student’s speech from the viewpoint of a native speaker.
I have a great appreciation for American culture and have several years of experience working with American teenagers and adults while working at the US Government entity in Buenos Aires.
I managed the Internship Program which gave students an opportunity to gain work experience and improved their Spanish skills like comprehension, reasoning, understanding , writing and speaking. They really enjoyed having their latin american experience.
Since my husband is American , I have been teaching him for almost six years and he is making progress. He is very happy and very excited in learning new words, expressions and idiomas and he is working very hard to become fluent in Spanish
I love to be a spanish tutor because I like to help others, transmit my knowledge and improve students communication skills. I also do think tutoring improves creativity and independence. Tutoring provides greater congruence between teacher and learner, improves academic performance and personal growth. Motivates self-paced and self-directed learning and fosters self esteem and self confidence.
I am very a passionate and hard working person and i believe that being a tutor in Spanish is a very rewarding and interesting experience for me and for my students. I am very patient, a good listener and I want to generate a relaxing teaching and learning environment and also create and keep a good and professional relationship with students.
I can teach spanish for beginners. intermediate and advanced students.
I can help with a simple homework, preparation for an exam and also teach and improve writing, reading, listening and speaking skills. I am willing to teach to either young people or adults.
I am very excited and happy to be a tutor and i am looking forward to hearing and meeting you and starting to teach and learn about the amazing Spanish language and latinamerican culture.
Should you have any concern about my education and work experience, I can provide supporting documents ( certification of services, bachelors degree certificate, green card resumes, evaluations, etc).

Muchas gracias y espero que se comuniquen conmigo !

Being able to teach my language and my culture, and to witness my students' improvements.

I always enjoy seeing my students' excitement when they learn a new thing and are able to express themselves and carry on a conversation in spanish with accuracy and fluency.

We've been working together for over 6 months, and I do not intend to stop any time soon. The curriculum is personalized and catered to what I need to focus on. Would definitely recommend to anyone else looking to refine their Spanish understanding!

Carolina is very personal, tailors courses to my needs, an excellent teacher to the point that I understand Spanish sentence structure more than English LOL, and she provides a lot of support in the learning process. I started w her as a new learner and I feel like I could not have gotten this far w/o her.

Carolina is such an incredible teacher! She comes to class prepared, with a smile, and a great attitude. She is very smart, and able to think on the spot of what exactly you are trying to say and need to learn. No matter what your language level is (from a beginner who doesn't know a word of Spanish to someone who is looking to improve or fine tune your language skills) Carolina will be able to help you. I am at an intermediate level trying to become fluent, and there has never been a word, language rule, or concept that Carolina hasn't known or been able to help me with. On top of that Carolina makes class very fun and interesting! She knows how to help you learn while still having interesting discussions and drawing on her own life experiences. You can't beat learning from a native speaker, and Carolina being from Argentina helps you to have access to that unique background and perspective. Carolina is very professional. Always arriving right on time, and also being willing to stay over time to help a student if it is needed for class. She also has worksheets and resources if you want homework or more practice to learn. I enjoy working with her a lot and look forward to my class sessions with her. I am so happy that I found her on this website so that I could learn Spanish from her. I cannot recommend her enough for anyone looking for a Spanish tutor! I have had four years of Spanish tutoring and she is one of the best teachers I have ever had!

She was always prepared and energetic. Carolina is smart, and she cares, so she knows how to assess current level and how to come up with a path forward. I really enjoyed working with her, and my Spanish improved a lot. Plus, she's a native Spanish speaker, which makes me feel like she really knows her stuff.
