Established in 1986, Act One Theatre School is a cherished institution in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and the surrounding areas. Known for its comprehensive, student-oriented programs, Act One fosters creativity and hones theatre skills to provide a rewarding experience for all students. The curriculum includes process-oriented classes for skill development and production-oriented classes for presenting fully-produced musicals. Every student is extensively involved in the productions, creating an environment of acceptance, fun, and high-quality expectations. Under the guidance of founder Ms. Karen Cordaro, students gain professionalism, critical ability, and self-confidence.
