I bring a unique history and skill set to the table. Having led two popular boy groups to album releases and respectable success. One had local accomplishments (Crave in Pittsburgh) received the key to the city as well as a proclamation. Every year in Pittsburgh on July 21'st is Crave Day. The other was being the lead singer for popular boy group Pretty Ricky. Understanding what it takes to make it in the music industry and the requirements that it asks of you to be your best vocally and creatively. After touring and working with numerous notable artists in the industry, I became an educator, teaching the craft in many schools and programs throughout the city of Pittsburgh. I am confident that I can enhance your vocal skills!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We would start out with one hour sessions. Getting vocal range work in, doing some scales, exercising the vocals to start strengthening and conditioning the voice. We can do Ben do some lite piano work to work on scales and note recognition.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have many years of experience working in the studio with artists. Doing vocal production and songwriting. Arranging vocals for major music releases.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Standard prices would be $40 an hour. Packages are available for monthly payments $150 for one day every weekend of that month.
includes lite piano lessons as well as multi media research, songwriting exercises, possible recording of an original song.
How did you get started teaching?
After touring the country as a national recording artist with Pretty Ricky, I decided to come home and teach what I know and what I've experienced. Tell my story to the youth.
What types of students have you worked with?
I teach in K-8 schools every school year, also work with students at after school programs. I have worked several schools and after school programs across the city.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I just hosted a songwriting camp at the August Wilson Center this past weekend. It was a culmination of the four months of songwriting work with the youth. We held a final performance live for a community day event. My students performed very well!!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Just do your research on that particular teacher and be ready to work! Sacrifice is serious when it comes to succeeding at your craft. Pick the teacher that you feel will make you better!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What do you ultimately want to do with your talents? Create your own original music? Release songs. Write for other artists?
