Hi! My forte is tap. I started dance at age 3...and well I am 64 and still dancing and teaching. I made the New York Rockettes but decided to get married instead. I have been trained by a Rockette in traditional tap technique. Let me know how I can help you.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
To be prepared, on time and open to a new adventure!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Teaching dance since the age of 15 with private studios and recreation counils. Presently teaching at the local Jewish comminuty center and Light of Life Performing Arts. Danced on stage with Bob Hope, Benny Goodman, Zim Zimmerel and Joe Williams. Toured with Goerge Goebal, the Magician as a dancer. Baltimore Ballet Theater at the Lyric under Wally Saunders. I also tried out for the NYC Rockettes and was accepted but declined to get married.

A one hour lesson: $50.00 45 minutes: $35.00 30 minutes:$25.00
How did you get started teaching?
Teaching at Jean Kettell Studio of Dance in Dundalk, Maryland at the age of 15.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work and have worked with students ages 3-75.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The highlight of my dance career was taking my tap dancers to Project Dance in NYC at Times Square and they performed a Spanish dance to Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for character of the teacher, have an understanding of the time commitment and be ready to go!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What they are looking for, how long in duration, flexiblity and determination.
